While still in his early teens, dimwitted Donny Berger (Adam Sandler) fathered a son, Han Solo Berger (Andy Samberg), with his teacher and raised him as a single parent up until Han's 18th birthday. Now, 30 years later Donny needs $43,000 to pay off the IRS to avoid 3 years of jail time. Han (who changed his name to Todd Peterson) is a wealthy and successful business man who gets a pleasant surprise on the eve of his wedding when an uninvited Donny suddenly shows up for some father and son time.
Desperate to get the $43,000 he owes, Donny tries to reconnect with his son. He is now forced to deal with the repercussions of his bad parenting skills.
