We've had a lot of important announcements come out of ShoWest this week, but perhaps none bigger than the ones made by Sony Pictures Entertaimenment president Rory Bruer. In addition to officially announcing that Spider-Man 4 and Ghostbusters 3 are in the works (both of which we've known about for a while now), Bruer revealed that a new Men in Black film was also in active development.
Bruer had said previously that both Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith wanted to come back for another round in the sci-fi comedy series but wouldn't say whether either actor has confirmed for the third flick. Still, with the first two movies combining to earn a whopping $1 billion+ in ticket sales, it's hard to picture them moving forward without at least Smith.
Say what you will about the second movie (personally, I thought it sucked) but the first Men in Black is still a blast and I'm excited to see what the team could do with a third. How about you? Sound off in our Comment section below.
