Jerry Bruckheimer on Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and The Lone Ranger
Jerry Bruckheimer the producer behind franchises such as Pirates of the Caribbean ,Bad Boys and National Treasure gives updates on future projects. Right now they are filming The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is in post production stage and both for the summer of 2010. Other future project for Bruckheimer are The Lone Ranger and Pirates of the Caribbean 4 both starring Johnny Depp playing Tono and Captain Jack Sparrow respectively. there was stories that Disney and Bruckheimer has chosen a director for The Lone Ranger that pushes the Pirates of the Caribbean back. For Disney, the priority is most definitely "Pirates." "It's a great franchise for them and for us, too," he said. "A beloved character and Johnny's really excited about coming back to Captain Jack. He certainly is interested in Tonto, but Disney's priority is to get 'Pirates' made first. You never know what's going to happen, but they would like it." he told Comingsoon.net. Share
