Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes To Clash In Titans
Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes have signed on to play warring gods in the Louis Leterrier directed remake of Clash of the Titans. Neeson will play Zeus, father to Sam Worthington's Perseus and king of the Greek gods. He was played by Laurence Olivier in the original. Fiennes will oppose Neeson as Hades, ruler of the underworld "who aims to overtake Zeus and rule over all." Neeson showed he could kick some serious ass in the surprise hit Taken earlier this year, but he'll have a secondary role in Titans to Worthington's Perseus. Still, the casting of Neeson and Fiennes brings some much-needed credibility to an otherwise unproven but up-and-coming cast. With them, this is shaping up to be a potential blockbuster hit - and just wait until Worthington solidifies himself as a household name after Terminator Salvation and James Cameron's Avatar... Share
